Bollywood star kangana ranaut attacked punjabi musician shubh, who is residing in Canada, on tuesday for allegedly "celebrating the cowardly killing" of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. shubh was seen clutching a sweatshirt with a photo and the date of Indira Gandhi's assassination on a punjabi map in a video from his most recent performance.
Reacting to the video from Shubh’s concert, kangana ranaut said, “Celebrating the cowardly killing of an old woman by those who she appointed as her saviours. When you are trusted to protect but you take advantage of the trust and faith and use the same weapons to kill the ones were suppose to protect then it’s a shameful act of cowardice not of bravery. One must be ashamed of such a cowardly attack on an elderly lady who was disarmed and unaware, a lady who was the chosen leader of a democracy, nothing to glorify here Shubham ji. Shame !!! (Sic).”
Shubh has been the subject of criticism before. This is not the first time. shubh had a fierce response last month after it was claimed in a prior social media post that he had backed Khalistani elements. His show in mumbai was cancelled shortly after.
Who is Shubh?
Shubh, a singer from Canada, became well-known in 2021. 'Don't Look,' his single featuring Irman Thiara, made him a household name. Still, "We Rollin" and "Offshore" were the songs that made Shubh's reputation in the desi music industry. shubh, who is originally from Punjab, is claimed to have started his musical career after relocating to Canada. In addition to his vocals, shubh is well-known for his rapping and compositional abilities.
