Salaar Needs to Collect ₹300 Crs in Telugu States for Break-Even?
The producers of Salaar are said to have sold the telugu theatrical rights of the prabhas, Prithviraj, and shruti haasan film for about ₹175 crores when all sales statistics are taken into account. To ensure that all of the distributors get straightforward returns in return for their investments, the film must gross close to ₹300 crores.
Prior to this, Prabhas' Adipurush was sold to telugu states for ₹115 crores. During its whole run, the movie earned ₹120–130 crores in gross (75+ crores share), which resulted in losses. However, consider what a prabhas movie might accomplish with a blockbuster discussion if it could pull in more over 75 crores. The movie's distributors are now placing their bets there.
However, Adipurush's global "theatrical" company is currently valued at over ₹250 crores, while Salaar's business is unaffected by the film's failure. It was directed by Om Raut. The creators of this new movie, which has prashanth neel as its director, earn close to ₹500 crores from the sale of the theatre rights alone.
