LEO Box Office Day 3 - Movie Falls Down due to Poor Reviews

SIBY JEYYA
At the box office, Thalapathy Vijay's movie appears to be having trouble. Since its premiere in tamil Nadu, the lokesh Kanagaraj-directed tamil movie has experienced a decline. After an amazing opening weekend of Rs. 27.63 cr in tamil Nadu, the much awaited movie has now dipped to a third-day collection of Rs. 13.32 cr. Since its second-day collection in the state, there has been a reduction of little more than Rs 2 cr. Leo has exceeded Rs. 50 Cr. as a result of this.

Trade expert manobala V took to X and wrote, “#Leo TN box office CROSSES ₹50 cr mark in the state on 3rd day. The film doesn’t show any improvement even on Saturday. Jailer on the other hand minted ₹ 76.09 cr from its first 3 days of run. For Leo film, the negative WoM is playing against it.”

He shared the three day break down from tamil Nadu:

Day 1 – Rs. 27.63 cr

Day 2 – Rs. 15.95 cr

Day 3 – Rs. 13.32 cr

Total – Rs. 56.90 cr

However, Leo is gradually approaching the Rs 150 crore club, according to box office website Sacnilk.com. The portal, which reported on the collection from different regions, disclosed that Leo had amassed domestic collection of Rs 140.50 crore in only three days. According to preliminary estimates, Vijay's movie brought in Rs 40 crore on its third day of domestic sales.
