Taapsee Pannu works as a Producer for a feature film and web series
Taapsee Pannu to produce a new web series, a source told News18 Showsha exclusively. In 2021, taapsee pannu launched her maiden production venture named Outsider Films. She joined hands with Pranjal Khandhdiya, who has earlier produced films like Soorma, rashmi Rocket and Kachhey Kimbu. Last year, the duo produced their first film titled Blurr under their banner. Starring Taapsee and Gulshan Devaiah, the horror thriller revolves around a woman, who data-faces two massive turns in life, the death of her twin sister and her eyesight weakening with every passing day.Last week, their second venture, Dhak Dhak, which marks their first theatrical release as producers, hit the big screen. Starring ratna pathak Shah, dia mirza Rekhi, fatima sana shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi, the slice-of-life film told the story of four ordinary women who end up discovering themselves as they ride a bike from New delhi to Khardung La.A multitasker, alongside acting, Taapsee has been successfully dabbling in production. Despite the lukewarm response Dhak Dhak received at a box office, it seems like there’s no stopping her. In fact, News18 Showsha has exclusively learnt that Taapsee has already begun work on her next projects. Interestingly, she is all set to back a web show next. A source tells us, “Yes, Taapsee is currently working on the pre-production of a web series. Whether or not she will be starring in it, is still unclear. The script has already been locked but the casting is still at a nascent stage.”
