Rajinikanth opted to take the road route to reach Kanyakumari in his car. Meanwhile, fans who heard about Rajinikanth travelling to Kanyakumarim gathered on his route to meet the actor. Rajinikanth spotted a group of fans standing in the hot sun and stopped his car to shake hands with them.
