After 'Leo', lokesh kanagaraj is all set to show his magic with actor Rajinikanth. The official announcement of 'Thalaivar 171' was made a couple of weeks back and the anticipation around the movie is already high. Though the director is yet to reveal if the film with the superstar actor will be part of his cinematic universe or a stand-alone film. director lokesh kanagaraj in a recent interview with a YouTube reviewer and movie critic opened up about his new project.He reportedly stated that 'Thalaivar 171' is a long delayed project. He revealed that the story for written even before his debut movie 'Maanagaram' and said that he wrote the film for his friend, but now Rajinikanth has chosen the script. lokesh kanagaraj said that after the release of 'Leo' he will take a small break as he has been working constantly for 5 months on the post-production of the Vijay starrer and added that only after a while he will start the pre-production of Rajinikanth's film. He said that he will be working on the film very patiently with the actor as there is no deadline set and even the release date of the film is not fixed.
