Yami Gautam is looking forward to OTT version of Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘OMG 2’
Akshay Kumar, pankaj tripathi and Yami Gautam’s OMG 2 had won the audiences and the critics over with a powerful social message, enmeshed within the construct of comedy and dialogues. Despite clashing with a mammoth film like Gadar 2, OMG 2 paved its own way and became a hit. Ahead of its OTT release on october 8, yami gautam is excited to see what the OTT version of the film has in store for the audience, which couldn’t make it to the theatrical version.During a conversation with the entertainment portal PinkVilla, yami gautam shared, “Super thrilled for the release of OMG 2 on an OTT platform! More than just a film; it’s a message that deserves to reach it’s right audience, and I’m confident it will find its way via an OTT release! With the immense love and the thunderous response, that the film received after its theatrical launch, I’m even more excited and eagerly waiting to see what the OTT release has in store for us! Hopefully, the film will start and provoke a positive conversation amongst the teenagers, that we had intended for it to.”OMG 2, which revolves around sex education, hit theatres on august 11 after the Censor Board passed it with 27 cuts and several other modifications. However, the director of the akshay kumar and pankaj tripathi starrer had previous revealed that an uncensored version of the film will be released on OTT soon.
