Ranveer Brar was born on 8 february 1978 in lucknow city. His family belonged to restaurant owners, as a result of which Ranveer was fond of food, spices, and cooking since childhood. After graduation, he took admission in Hotel Management degree. However, he left it within a few months and instead, came to mumbai to pursue his dreams. Ranveer's first job as a commissary chef. However, after coming to mumbai, Ranveer found it very difficult to find a job for himself. The situation was even more difficult because he neither had any training nor any degree to prove his talent. It was his passion for cooking that took him everywhere. After doing some odd jobs here and there, he finally got a good job at the famous 'Taj Palace' hotel in Mumbai. In 2001, Ranveer opened his first restaurant at fort Aguada beach Resort in Goa, which featured seafood, Italian and an open-air 'barbeque eatery'.
