Sankranti gets Overcrowded as Salaar releases on December
Many telugu films have had their release dates changed because of the big-budget action thriller Salaar, starring pan-Indian superstar Prabhas. It is well known that the movie's original release date of september 28 has been moved to a later date. Exhibitors got an email on september 26 informing them that the movie will be released in theatres on december 22. Now, the other filmmakers were confused by this abrupt statement.

Saindhav's producers, victory venkatesh and Sailesh Kolanu, are reportedly aiming to release the film on Sankranthi, according to insider reports. Saindhav's entry into the event brings the total for Sankranthi Releases to seven.
