Article 32 in support of 'Adipurush'..!?
It is known about the commotion across the country in the backdrop of the release of 'Adipurush', which is a twist on the Ramayana. Some negativity has been spread in the dialogues about how the characters in Ramayana are made into movies according to their wishes...the way those characters were created to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. The authors apologized for this too. However,
lawyer Mamata
rani tried to file a public interest litigation in the
supreme court to withdraw the film certificate given by the CBFC. However, the
supreme court rejected the plea. A bench comprising Justice SK Kaul and Justice Sudhansh Dhuliali, after hearing the arguments of the lawyers, opined that the Censor Board has issued a certificate to Adipurush and now it is inappropriate to interfere in the matter. It asked why to respond under Article 32. Should every matter before the
supreme court be scrutinized?
The
court commented that the tolerance for movies and books is decreasing in recent times. However, the
supreme court rejected the PIL.
Dharmasana commented that the tolerance for movies and books is decreasing in recent times. With this, the controversy over 'Adipurush' has become a blue shadow. It can be said that the arguments are in support of the
movie as the
supreme court directly rejected the plea. It seems that the
supreme court has not shown any interest in conducting an inquiry on such pills. It is known that cases are being registered against films with objectionable content. So far their judgments have also come in favor of the makers. It seems that the same has happened in the case of 'Adipurush'. Especially Article 32 on this dispute has been able to stop the controversy and criticism. The author of Adipurush explained some of the dialogues and apologized as needed. There are many cases where the judgments have come in favor of the director-producers in the cases where the
youth and children are being spoiled because of the movies.
