Karan Johar’s veiled attack on sriram raghavan, onir calls out film industry’s hypocrisy:

Film director onir, who is known for his National Award-winning film I Am, took to twitter on tuesday and wrote about film clashes at the box office. Onir’s tweet comes a day after Karan Johar had subtly hinted that he was upset about sriram raghavan announcing the release date of his upcoming film Merry Christmas, which is clashing with Karan’s Yodha.

Onir has now said that filmmakers with big pockets are speaking about the fraternity caring for one another but they themselves would never bother if their film was releasing alongside a smaller indie film.

He wrote, “Big bollywood releases get so upset when there is another big budget release the same day and they talk about how we should all care for each other in the industry, but don’t think for a second when they deprive a small budget indie film of a tiny number of good shows to survive.”Onir’s tweet comes a day after Karan Johar had subtly hinted that he was upset about sriram raghavan announcing the release date of his upcoming film Merry Christmas, which is clashing with Karan’s Yodha.
