The largest indian film festival outside of India, the indian Film festival of melbourne (IFFM), continues to draw viewers from all over the world. For the eagerly anticipated 14th edition this year, nominations have been made public. To make this year's festival unique, the distinguished jury panel will welcome a new member. Bruce Beres, an Australian director known for critically lauded films like Driving Miss daisy and The Contract, joined ford as a jury member.The IFFM serves as a beautiful celebration of the cultural exchange of indian cinema and is the only indian film festival held outside of India. After carefully examining hundreds of films throughout indian cinema, the IFFM Advisory Committee has decided on the nominations for motion pictures and web series released between 1 june 2022 and 31 May 2023. Recently, the list of top films in the Best Actor and Best Actress categories, as well as Best Picture, was made public. On this list are blockbusters like Sita Ramam, Darlings - monica O My Darling, Ponniyin Selvan, and Kantara. The captivating stories, outstanding performances, and creative flare in these flicks have mesmerised the audience.Bruce Beresford, an Australian director who won an Oscar, is also a member of the famous IIFM jury. Among Bruce Beresford's works are Crimes of the heart and Driving Miss Daisy.
