The world is about to be conquered by Drishyam, the popular malayalam film starring mohanlal as Georgekutty. Due to the movie's enormous success, it has been remade numerous times, including twice in Bollywood. The most recent adaptation, Drishyam 2, has made an astounding Rs 250 crore in india alone.
With the exception of Filipino, Sinhala, and Indonesian, Panorama Studios international Ltd recently announced that they had secured the rights to remakes of both Drishyam and Drishyam 2 in all international languages. They also have the rights to make a Chinese-language version of Drishyam 2 and are currently negotiating to release the film in Hollywood, Korea, and Japan.
The 2013 movie, which was directed by Jeethu Joseph, is about Georgekutty and his devoted family, whose tranquil lives are upended by an unintentional crime. Georgekutty makes an effort to keep his family and their secret safe despite the challenges that they data-face. Drishyam has been translated into Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, with actors ajay Devgn, Kamal Haasan, and venkatesh playing the principal roles, in addition to the malayalam version.
