Following the statement by megastar chiranjeevi that he would establish himself in Visakhapatnam by building a residence there, the ysr congress party officials are ecstatic. At the Waltair Veeraiah pre-release event, the megastar made a number of complimentary remarks about Visakhapatnam, its residents, and the jagan Mohan reddy administration. He claimed to have a strong attachment for the port city of Visakhapatnam and that its residents value peace. He said that he had just bought a plot of property on Bhimili Road and would shortly be building a home there to settle down.
Chiranjeevi also praised the chief minister's office for suggesting that the pre-release screening of his movie be held on the campus of Andhra University. There would not have been as many people if it had been on the beach road as initially intended, he claimed. The YSRC leaders consider Chiranjeevi's remarks to be a kind of support for jagan Mohan Reddy's choice as chief minister. v Vijay Sai reddy, general secretary of the YSRC and a member of the Rajya Sabha, was the first to applaud the megastar's choice.

It should be noted that the chief minister suggested to chiranjeevi that he take the initiative to build the telugu cinema industry in andhra pradesh with Visakhapatnam as the centre during their most recent meeting. Additionally, he pledged that the government will provide the film industry with all necessary support.
