DC Is Right To End The Snyderverse

The abrupt cancellation of Henry Cavill's Man of Steel 2 is the most shocking piece of information from DC that proves beyond a doubt that the Snyderverse is over, which is the proper decision for the DC Universe. The writing is on the wall for Zack Snyder's vision, even though it has not yet been formally announced that the Snyderverse will come to an end. A transition will occur sooner rather than later since Gunn's new DCU will replace the DCEU after Aquaman: The Lost Kingdom is released.

Man of Steel, the 2014 movie that launched the whole DCEU, is considered the first entry in the soon-to-be-dead Snyderverse, the collective moniker for Zack Snyder's DC movies. But halfway through the filming of Justice League, Warner Brothers Studios decided to sever ties with Snyder following a string of films that received negative reviews. A division in DC's vision that featured a sizable portion of projects adhering to Snyder's initial vision, tone, and style was the unavoidable outcome. Although HBO Max finally broadcast Snyder's Justice League, recent developments, like as the appointment of james Gunn and Peter Safron as the new DCU leaders, strongly suggest that the DC Snyderverse is over.

The renowned comic book heroes were given a far darker interpretation in Zack Snyder's vision for the DC cinematic world, with recurring themes of the nature of tremendous power, dread of the unknown, and loss. Zack Snyder's Justice League went so far as to state that, had Snyder stayed on at DC, the "Injustice" tale adaption would have served as the finale of his vision. Snyder's tenure at DC was terminated in 2017 before he could implement his future plans, hence his vision was never realised.
