Popular tejaswini Pandit recently spoke about a humiliating incident that occurred while she was residing in a pune rental property. She disclosed during an interview with Soumitra Pote for his podcast Mitramhane that the corporator who owned the property had proposed a deal involving sexual favours as a quid pro quo.

Tejaswini recalled, "I used to reside in a renting apartment on Sinhagad Road. It was around 2009–2010." (in Pune). Only one or two of my films had been released at the time. A corporator was the owner of the apartment. He gave me a clear proposition as soon as I arrived at his office to pay rent. I took up the glass of water that was on the table and tossed it in his data-face. I didn't go into this line of work to do stuff like that, otherwise I wouldn't still be living in a rented flat. I would have brought houses, automobiles, and other things.

"It was a combo of two things," she continued. They made assumptions about me based on my line of work and my precarious financial situation. For me, it was a teaching moment. For the uninitiated, tejaswini actress Jyoti Chandekar's daughter made her acting debut in 2004 with Aga Bai Arrecha, directed by Kedar Shinde!
