Megastar Chiranjeevi's "Godfather," one of the biggest films to come out recently, is a remake of the malayalam film Lucifer. Although the movie received excellent reviews from reviewers, it hasn't quite lived up to expectations in theatres. If stories are to be accepted, the filmmaker Mohan Raja has experienced a shift in fortunes as a result of the movie's final box office performance.
Mohan Raja, the director of "Godfather," had been planning to work with Akkineni nagarjuna on a project even before signing on. Later, it was revealed that nagarjuna wanted akhil to be a part of the project, and Mohan Raja himself confirmed it when the Godfather was being promoted. He announced that he would make this film with the Akkineni heroes before directing "Tani Oruvan 2" with ram Charan. But based on the rumours, that is already taking place.
After seeing the Godfather's performance, which struggled to recoup its whole box office haul, nagarjuna is rumoured to have split in two. He is claimed to have put off making this movie for the time being and will decide on his next project in a few months. It appears that Mohan Raja's upcoming telugu project won't take off as smoothly as everyone anticipated.
