Box-office Update : Urvasivo Rakshasivo is a Disaster
Kantara is currently having an outstanding run in the telugu States, where it fully conquered another weekend. In the telugu States, the movie made 3.80 cr gross throughout the course of its fourth weekend, bringing its 23-day total to 49 cr gross. The film's distributor share has surpassed the 24-cr threshold at the box office already.
After a very bad start, Allu Sirish's Urvasivo Rakshasivo showed no improvement throughout the weekend, despite promising wom. In the telugu States, the movie's opening weekend (3 days) receipts are reported to have totaled 1.3 cr. The movie is a major failure and will be removed from theatres as of right now. The hero has returned to the big screen after a three-year hiatus, but that hasn't helped him and has instead given him one of his poorest career starts.
Achu Rajamani, the music composer for Rakesh Sashi's "Urvasivo Rakshasivo," the telugu version of the tamil blockbuster "Pyar prema Kadhal," claimed that he did not adapt any of the musical compositions from the tamil version specifically for the telugu film. It's interesting that Yuvan shankar Raja's sparkling music for the tamil movie's songs helped them become chart-toppers.
