The kannada version of "Kantara" has already sold more tickets than the Prashanth Neel-directed film, despite the collections being lower than those of the recent smash KGF2 as a result of the different ticket prices. Additionally, the movie is doing well at the telugu and bollywood box offices, with total worldwide receipts from all the languages and regions currently topping 200 crores.

According to certain sources, "Kantara" will launch on OTT on november 4th, despite the movie's irrepressible box office success. Speaking of the same, the producers made it clear that Kantara's release on OTT has not yet been confirmed and that they will make an official announcement once they have a date in mind. But why is there so much smoke when there isn't a fire?

An insider revealed that the "Kantara" producers actually struck a flawless arrangement with a major OTT platform to release the movie within 30 days after the kannada version's initial release. The picture was most likely scheduled to premiere on OTT on november 4th, but the producers are alleged to have cancelled the arrangement as a result of the film's record-breaking box office performance. They are reportedly currently renegotiating the agreement.
