'Brahmastra' became hindi film number one of the year in 17 days, leaving behind 'Kashmir Files'
The film 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva' has earned the title of the highest-grossing film of the year at the domestic box office, earning a whopping Rs 23.12 crore on its third weekend. The film's collection in india alone has crossed the Rs 253 crore mark. This is the highest grossing of any hindi film released this year.
Ranbir Kapoor, alia bhatt, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, amitabh bachchan, and Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva' earned Rs 124.49 crore on the first weekend. On the second weekend, the film earned Rs 42.03 crore. And, in the third weekend also, the film earned a whopping Rs 23.12 crores, taking advantage of the National cinema Day celebrated on Friday.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji's Star Studios and dharma Productions, the film 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva' has a chance of earning one-sided at the box office for four days now. Its first big competition will be with hrithik roshan and saif ali khan starrer 'Vikram Vedha' to be released on 30 september and tamil mega budget film 'PS1', which is going to be dubbed in Hindi. The worldwide collection of the film 'Brahmastra Part One Shiva' also crossed the Rs 400 crore mark on Sunday.
