On monday, tirumala tirupati Devasthanams accused bollywood actress archana Goutam of acting inappropriately with the ttd staff and attempting to assault them, in addition to filing a bogus complaint against them. On august 31, Shivkanth Tiwari and seven other leaders travelled to tirumala for a darshan together with archana Goutam, a model-turned-politician who ran for the congress in the Hastinapur district of meerut in the 2022 Uttar Pradesh elections.
According to ttd officials, she carried a letter of recommendation from a Union minister for the break darshan. She nonetheless arrived a day early and requested darshan for them, but the servants declined. She and the ttd personnel got into a heated dispute over this. While the ttd official spokesman said that archana had used derogatory language and attempted to physically harm the personnel, she posted a video to twitter on monday in which she made severe accusations against the temple's leadership.
Archana asserted that the tirupati temple administration "mistreated" her and denied her access. She posted a video of the incident and said that she was charged Rs 10,500 by the temple administration for a "darshan" visit. She also requested the andhra pradesh Jagan mohan reddy administration to take action against the temple workers in her tweet. "In the guise of religion, tirupati balaji acts immoral with ladies; action should be made against this ttd employee. India's Hindu sacred sites have turned into dens of theft. I am asking the Andhra Government. And one individual has Rs 10,000 taken from them in the guise of VIP darshan. @INCIndia, stop stealing it, archana tweeted.
