Varisu is a film directed by Vamshi in which Vijay is playing the hero. Produced by telugu producer dil Raju, pushpa actress rashmika mandanna will be seen opposite actor Vijay in the film. Apart from this, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Samyukta, Shyam, Khushbu, and SJ Suriya are acting in the movie. The shooting of Varisu has reached its final stages. The final shooting of the film is going on in Visakhapatnam. A song scene starring actor Vijay and rashmika is being shot there. Even recently, pictures of Vijay and rashmika hugging in a red dress went viral.
Thaman is composing the music for Varisu. After the shooting of the film, Vijay will star in Thalapathy 67 directed by lokesh Kanagaraj. It has already been announced that Varisu will be released in theaters during the pongal festival in january 2023.
