Scenes have been shot in this place since the 1970s. A scene from a movie shot in this town will make you remember this place. Isn't Sarathkumar and the teacher intimate in a house with some sort of background music in Nattamai? Throughout the film, Natamai's teacher will come and go before everyone's eyes. That teacher's real name is Raksha.

Raksha made her debut in the 1992 film directed by gangai amaran and starring Ramarajan. Kaundamani “Inda Aalu Teacher Vacchirukan Doi” is a very popular comedy scene where it was shot. In particular, the song of the film Banaras Pattu Vedti from the film was shot here. In the same place, the scene where Saranya and jayam ravi shop in Bhoomi was shot.

Goundamani Senthil scenes are shot here. The song scene in Ajith's film Jana Kana Mana was also shot here. In the movie LKG, the scene where two different parties come to ask for votes to meet was also shot at the same place. The fight scenes at the end of the Simbu-starrer Kalai were also shot here and many movies have been shot here. The only reason why film scenes are shot here is that it is a place with good surroundings and natural beauty and less human traffic.

When we are shooting, there is not a lot of disturbance, there is no crowd, it is because of these reasons that especially in this village, there are a lot of these films.
