OTT Hits - Ante Sundaraniki and Vikram

G GOWTHAM
The issue is not with OTT or the fact that individuals choose to wait a month before going to the movies. Most movies these days lack the elements that draw audiences to the theatre due to their bad substance. Even movies with big-name actors have been losing money one after another. By the monday after the weekend they are released, they have lost their appeal. Which current movie, now that I think about it, is still in theatres after its seventh week? One stands out in particular:

"Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2," which is still playing in a few theatres despite having been released on an OTT platform after a four-week run. With the way movies are distributed today—in hundreds of theatres with numerous showings each day—if a movie is going to be successful, it will start to show signs of success on Day One and make a few hundred crores within three to four weeks.

All notable films have demonstrated that. Even as hindi films struggle, South dubbed films keep succeeding. The top names are all putting out flop after flop, which is the problem. They don't take a break, though, like many previous stars did before returning to perform various and occasionally significant roles. When their ages started to work against them, amitabh bachchan, mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, and the late rishi kapoor all took a hiatus from acting.
