After Kaali, god shiva and Parvati smoke cigarettes..!?
Leena Manimekalai, who shared a photo of two people posing as Lord shiva and Parvati smoking a cigarette on twitter, also mentioned that this photo was taken somewhere else. Poet and director Leena Manimekalai recently got into controversy by releasing the poster of a documentary called Kaali. The poster showed a woman dressed as Kaali holding a cigarette in her mouth and holding the flag of the LGBT community in her hand.
Enraged by this poster, the netizens were raising voices of condemnation demanding the arrest of Leena Manimekalai, who published the poster as an insult to the Hindu god. Apart from this, a lawyer had filed a complaint against her with the delhi Police. A case was filed against Leena. Yesterday, twitter company took action to remove this controversial poster.
The Aga Khan Museum in Toronto also announced that it would not screen the documentary. Leena Manimekalai has posted yet another controversial post to protest against these measures.
