Actually the story of ``Animal'' (Ranbir) voiced by sandeep Vanga of arjun reddy fame but pushpa (Bunny already a blockbuster) story voiced by sukumar but the director's typical choices to launch Mahesh in a completely different way. But Mahesh rejected them. His opinion is that his fans don't see him that way. But now fans want the same thing as Animal - Pushpa. The reason why Mahesh wants to act in a cult classic like vikram is because he doesn't want to see him as routine. As an actor, Mahesh has to prove that he is suitable for any genre.
