Surya plays the title role in this film. The film is produced by Rajkamal Films International. music by Anirudh, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. Also, the publishing rights of the film have been acquired by Udayanidhi's red Giant Movies. With just two days to go before the release of the film, the film business is in full swing as kamal haasan is busy promoting the film. It has been announced that about 4000 shows will be screened on the first day in about 500 theaters and 2000 screens in the United States.
