Happening Tamil Director Faces Rejection From Prabhas?

SIBY JEYYA
After seeing the trailers for Vijay's master and Kamal Hassan's Vikram, one might have second thoughts about the filmmaker. He's none other than lokesh kanagaraj, whose previous film "Khaidi," starring Karthi, went exceptionally well in telugu theatres. And this director is desperate to work with a telugu celebrity right now.

According to reports, lokesh recently met none other than Baaubali prabhas and narrated a storyline to him. He's in hyderabad for a week and is supposed to have seen prabhas a couple of times with his script idea and delivered a good narration. However, prabhas is claimed to have rejected the story because he requires something larger-than-life, rather than the serious action films that he would have made five years ago, prior to Baahubali.

Lokesh's master tells the story of a lecturer who helps inmates at a juvenile prison reform, while his vikram with Kamal tells the story of a city's gangsters and cops. Though lokesh has a project with Vijay lined up, isn't it true that he needs some huge storylines to obtain Prabhas' approval? With projects like Adipurush, Project K, Salaar, and Spirit on the horizon, it's easy to see what kind of scripts prabhas is considering.
