Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the Thor: love and Thunder trailer. Thor is played by chris Hemsworth, Jane Foster is played by Natalie Portman, and Valkyrie is played by Tessa Thompson. The identity of Christian Bale's adversary, Gorr the god Butcher, is kept a secret, despite the fact that he is named in the official synopsis. Thor retires, but Gorr's mission to murder gods prompts the god of Thunder to return to his superhero ways, according to the Thor: love and Thunder synopsis.
Much of the plot of Thor: love and Thunder appears to be revealed in the teaser, which begins with Thor travelling with the Guardians of the Galaxy before deciding to forego superheroing in favour of self-reflection and self-discovery. Thor may decide this in the middle of one of the Guardians' missions, based on the shot of the Guardians charging into battle and Thor looking away. Thor then abandons Stormbreaker and embarks on a solo adventure, which appears to involve a stint as a ship captain. Thor appears to be going his own way, at least for the time being, with none of his previous friends and allies by his side, which is unusual for the god of Thunder.
Despite the fact that it isn't stated clearly in the Thor: love and Thunder trailer, the description reveals that Thor emerges from retirement to fight Gorr the god Butcher. Instead of Gorr, the teaser features Zeus, who is well renowned for his lightning bolt. Gorr will most likely assault Zeus, possibly killing him, prompting Thor to rally his allies to battle the god Butcher. Valkyrie, who doesn't appear to be enjoying her new role as New Asgard's monarch; Korg, who stands alongside Thor in front of a skeleton of a mighty beast; and Jane Foster, who appears to already be in possession of Mjolnir when Thor re-encounters her, round out the group. While the Thor: love and Thunder teaser teases a lot of what the next MCU film will entail,
