Why Batman's Box Office is very Low than Spider Man?

The Batman's box office is far lower than Spider-Man: No Way home, despite the fact that it should still be regarded a success. After nearly two years of doubt regarding the future of the moviegoing experience, No Way home established that, at least for blockbusters, theatrical releases are still a viable alternative. The box office results of Spider-Man: No Way home and The Batman, which were released just under three months apart, provide interesting insights into the two characters and their respective franchises.


Jon Watts' third time directing the Spider-Man franchise in a picture that celebrated the character's 20-year tenure in theatres was Spider-Man: No Way Home. In addition to returning villains from all of the Spider-Man films, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield joined incumbent Spidey, tom Holland, in the Spider-Man franchise. Despite being a stand-alone film, No Way home was an event on par with the previous two Avengers films.


The Batman depicts a younger, less experienced Bruce Wayne (Robert Pattinson) who is still figuring out who he is as a hero. director Matt Reeves was entrusted with recreating the character in a reboot that was unrelated to the DCEU in any way. The Batman's box office is significantly lower than No Way Home's, despite the fact that it was warmly received by reviewers and moviegoers.
