Atrangi Re and Maaran were direct OTT releases on Disney + Hotstar.
Jagame Thandiram opened to negative reviews right away due to boring and superficial treatment of a sensitive subject.
Atrangi Re though was praised for music and Dhanush's performance, it was a mediocre flick.
Even the latest release Maaran is not doing well with the audience.
The movie is criticized for its absurd screenplay and lazy efforts from the cast and crew.
The social media is having a field day bashing Maaran.
