Akhil's upcoming movie 'Agent' has been locked for august 12 release.
Akhil is one of the young and promising heroes of the tollywood industry.

After starring in boy next door roles, akhil has joined hands with Surendar reddy for a high budget entertainer.
Being so, the movie team came up with a big update yesterday.
The update is that the movie is currently scheduled to be released for Independence day Weekend on august 12. The makers released a poster revealing the same in which akhil was seen ferocious with a gun.
The movie is touted to be an action thriller and that akhil akkineni will be seen in a never before role.
He also improved his physique for the movie.
Another talking point about the movie is that mollywood superstar 'Mammotty' will also be seen in the movie in a pivotal role.
Sakshi Vaidhaya, a debutant is playing the female lead in the movie while Hip Hop Tamizha is set to score music for the film.
Vakkanthan vamsi has written the story of the movie which is bankrolled by AK Entertainments.
