A final statement from The Riddler replaces the conventional post-credits sequence in The Batman. A message pops up on-screen at the very conclusion of The Batman credits, saying spectators "Goodbye," but before the display goes black, a picture flashes for a brief time. The message may be difficult to decipher, but it's Riddler's webpage from earlier in the movie: Rata Alaada. It's a fun tie-in webpage that invites visitors to attempt three riddles, with a prize awarded if all three riddles are guessed correctly.

The riddles and awards have already varied a few times, so there's a chance they'll change again. It's worth noting that it's not the first time a Batman project has experienced the same thing. In 1966, a Los Angeles broadcaster teamed up with 20th Century Fox to run a campaign that promised someone lunch on the film studio with Batman and Robin if they got the Batphone's adequate given.

Bruce Wayne seeks vengeance for the killings of his parents and the widespread corruption of Gotham City throughout The Batman, but the tale turns on him. Batman maintains certain boundaries — he doesn't use weapons and he doesn't murder — but that's about it when it comes to distinguishing himself from The Riddler, who likewise considers himself a crusader seeking vengeance.
