The Gehraiyaan movie talks about personal life which is determined by relationships like the economics of relationships and the problems of extramarital affairs. The film is starred deepika padukone, ananya Pandey, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Naseeruddin Shah, and others, which has been highly anticipated in recent times. yoga practitioner Alisha who is deepika padukone feels trapped and stressed after a 6-year relationship with her boyfriend Karan. Alisha and karan then meet Alisha's cousin Dia (Ananya Pandey) and Jain (Siddhant Chaturvedi). Alisha and Dia were friends since childhood. Similarly, karan and Dia are also close friends. 

In the film, deepika and her boyfriend are shown as a middle-class couple who live in Mumbai. deepika is shown running a yoga center and her boyfriend who is a writer is unemployed. They are scenes where they don't have money to pay the electricity bills. But they live in a two-bedroom flat in mumbai which is a good sophisticated state. They both have a brand new iphone which doesn't show they are in shortage of money.

 Their outfits are fully branded in the movie. They always celebrate their birthdays in 5-star hotels only. They show the use of cars for all their travels. No buses or Taxis. Is this really the reality of people who are shown in movies. bollywood thinks they are showing the reality of middle-class people who suffer to pay their bills. But they fail miserably.
