Raveena Tandon, a bollywood actress, is thoroughly enjoying the popularity of her web series Aranyak. The performer made her big screen debut with Aranyak, and she's getting a lot of praise for her role as Kasturi in the show. Raveena talked about her persona in Aranyak, the bollywood vs. South cinema controversy, and her career in general in an exclusive conversation with a leading media.
Given the recent popularity of Pushpa, the actress was questioned if she believes bollywood is facing stiff competition from the South cinema industry during the conversation. Raveena responded to this by saying, "Of course, the hindi film industry can learn a lot from the Southern movie industry. It's because the South places a premium on content. But, as time goes on, I see that things are changing.
That was perhaps true ten years ago, but not any longer. Everyone is now on a level playing field. There is wonderful content emerging from the hindi film industry, just as there is fantastic content coming from the Southern movie industry and other regional industries. As a result, there has been a realisation that it is not about a specific recipe that works. It's wonderful content that works, and I believe it's applicable to every industry."
