Suriya's Pan-India movie going OTT way?
Suriya is a fantastic actor as well as a brilliant producer. He is avoiding commercial films in favour of works with strong message, as evidenced by his performance in jai Bheem. The film received widespread critical acclaim and was even mentioned on the Oscars Youtube Page. Suriya is generating major deals in his profession through his film studio 2D Entertainment, thanks to his high level of energy.
Suriya said in an interview with Variety that he has inked a major contract with amazon Prime, which will result in the release of multiple films, OTT material, and shows on Prime in the coming days. Suriya believes that OTT is the way to go, and that he and his crew will be introducing new talent to the OTT market. Suriya also hinted that his next few projects will be similarly extravagant.
His next movie, Etharkkum Thunindhavan, will also be available on Prime Video in the coming days. Pandiaraj directs the film, which stars priyanka Arul Mohan as the female protagonist. The film is scheduled to be released on february 4th, but there appears to be no chance of a big-screen distribution. It's now evident that the movie will undoubtedly be available on amazon Prime.
