Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun, continues to be a box office success in india and beyond. The film, directed by Sukumar, has been playing in theatres for three weeks and is expected to continue doing so. Due to an increase in Covid-19 cases in india, a few states have required 50% occupancy in theatres, while others have shut down theatres to prevent the disease from spreading further.

On december 17, the film Pushpa: The Rise, starring Allu Arjun, rashmika mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, was released in cinemas. The movie was planned to be released in theatres around the holidays. To avoid a box office clash with Ranveer Singh's 83, the filmmakers agreed to move the release date up by a week. However, that turned out to be a good idea as the movie had a good run before the Omicron threat.

According to trade expert Taran Adarsh, the hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise has grossed over Rs 70 crore. "#Pushpa is exhibiting powerful legs at the #BO," he added. A large portion of business comes from #Maharashtra and #Gujarat, just like #Sooryavanshi. [Week three] Mon 2.75 cr, Tue 2.50 cr, Wed 2.25 cr, Fri 3.50 cr, Sat 6.10 cr, sun 6.25 cr, Mon 2.75 cr, Tue 2.50 cr, Wed 2.25 cr The whole amount is Rs 70.44 crore. #PushpaHindi (sic) #India business." Taran added in another tweet that pushpa is destroying the foreign box office. In several nations, the film's third-week box office took in more than the second. "It's VERY, VERY Unusual for a #Indian film to witness big surge in worldwide markets in *Week 3*, particularly during epidemic era," he wrote.
