Pushpa: The Rise, starring allu arjun, has become the sleeper smash of 2021. On january 7, pushpa will be available on amazon Prime Video. The streaming rights to the film were reportedly sold for a large fee. The movie shattered box office records and paved the path for other regional films to take over Bollywood. Several renowned producers are reportedly courting allu arjun to pursue a straight hindi feature.


Pushpa has created a stir at the box office and continues to reign supreme. From january 7, pushpa will be available for streaming on amazon Prime. The OTT platform made the announcement on january 5th. Pushpa's streaming rights were purchased by amazon Prime Video for around Rs 27-30 crore, according to an industry source. "The satellite value of a picture is more than the OTT contract," the insider stated. pushpa, for example, is accessible on OTT in not just one but four languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Those who haven't seen it in the theatres will now make a point of watching it on OTT."


With the success of pushpa, the industry is betting that South filmmakers would now charge a higher fee for their online partnerships. "We are seeing an uptick in prices from a lot of South studios for the deals since the release of pushpa," one OTT player who declined to be named stated. Everyone else is obviously looking to cash in on Pushpa's popularity and strike while the iron is hot."
