Ticket Issue won’t affect my film - Nagarjuna

Srivastan Venkatraman

Nagarjuna has made a statement that ticket issue happening in Andhra will not be affecting his film.

The ticket issue that has caused a massive feud between the tollywood Industry and Andhra government is happening for a while now.

While majority of the stars feel it is unfair for cinema and makers, only a handful like Siddarth, nani and RGV have had the guts to voice out.

Being so, Nagarjuna's Banggarraju is the only current release in Tollywood.

RRR and radhe shyam which were much anticipated have left the race due to theater shutdown in Northern states.

Bangarraju is going ahead with the release.

In one of the interaction, nagarjuna was asked about the happening ticket issue in AP.

He replied that “I don’t want to talk about the politics from the cinema stage.

The ticket rates in ap are not going to affect my film ”.

When asked again, he replied “If the ticket prices are high, my film will collect more thats it”.

An indirect derivation from Nagarjuna's statement is that his movie might be sold for lesser amount which would make regaining the investment easy for makers and hence he is not fretting about Ticket price.

However, a veteran star like nagarjuna acting in a selfish way is a bit offputting and would have made the film fraternity unhappy.
