Tom Rothman of sony has revealed that tom Holland's Spider-Man will appear in another Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover. With the release of Spider-Man: No Way home, Holland's version of Peter Parker is gearing up for his latest solo outing. Since his debut in Captain America: Civil War, Holland's Spider-Man has been a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The character's presence in the MCU has long been dependant on a delicate arrangement between Marvel Studios and sony, which has seen him split between Marvel-produced ensemble films and Sony-produced solo films. With the current Holland-led Spider-Man trilogy coming to a close, some fans are wondering what the future holds for Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
According to tom Rothman, based on sony and Marvel's present collaboration, there is still at least one MCU crossover that would pull Holland into the galaxy of the other Marvel characters. doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) plays a key role in the events of Spider-Man: No Way home and his inclusion in the film is made possible by the studios' collaboration. Of course, just because there is only one "committed" crossover verified at this moment doesn't mean the agreement will come to a close with that one crossover.
