During the launch of the 'RRR' trailer which happened in mumbai on Thursday, jr ntr was questioned about the movie offers he had declined during his work in the PAN-Indian film 'RRR'. He had an instant answer to it which was a tribute to rajamouli who directed the film 'RRR'.

 He countered the reporters that Will anyone will come with a film offer when he was doing a film with Rajamouli? This will never happen in the industry when we are working with Jakkanna. rajamouli is addressed lovingly as 'Jakkanna' by many other celebrities and jr ntr from the telugu film industry. 

When one of the reporters compared him to ajay Devgn, He pleaded with them not to compare him with the action Superstar ajay Devgn. He said he grew up watching ajay Devgn's films. ajay is his very own action superstar then and also even now.

 
                     Jr NTR also commented on his character saying that few freedom fighters or historical heroes' stories remain in our memory from our childhood. His role bheem took him down memory lane. He also said that it was not difficult for him to do this role as he followed what the director asked him to do so.
