Samantha's next pan-Indian movie, Yashoda, is directed by hari Shankar and Harish. Along with the name, the filmmakers also revealed that the filming has commenced in Hyderabad. The film's premise hasn't been revealed much beyond the title. Yashoda, on the other hand, is expected to be a mystery with a strong female lead. Previously, it was stated that the movie would be bidirectional; however, it has now been stated that it would be multilingual. Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Mallu and hindi are the dialects in which the movie will be released.
Sridevi Movies is the creator of Yashoda. The movie's musical score will be composed by Mani Sharma, and the camera will be handled by M Sukumar.
