Venkatesh Daggubati is excited and pumped up as his highly anticipated rural action drama
narappa is gearing up for OTT medium release the day after tomorrow and he opened about the
movie in his recent
press meet. He said, "I am not the one who has to make decisions regarding OTT or theatrical release as it belongs to the
producer and only they can make the final call always as they have invested a lot of money in it.
When I watched
dhanush in
asuran I was completely blown away and I
wanted to do it immediately, but it was not an easy task and the character
narappa is a highly tough and challenging one. In fact, the
movie pushed me to limits and kept on testing me and I
wanted to do justice to Dhanush's role and I even wore the same dress even in the hotel just to get into the skin of
narappa character.
Once again,
director Srikanth Addala has made changes to suit the
telugu audiences and I guess the changes will also be appreciated just like 'Vakeel Saab' and this film can never be forgotten in my career and I
wanted to try something unique like
narappa every now and then. F3, Drushyam 2, are some other notable releases under my kitty and I think the OTT game is no longer new to us and we all are preferring it now and theaters will be in the flow after
people got rid of the COVID scare."
