Kala Review - A Revenge story told in possibly the best way

When the walls of civilized man fall, the animal in him sneaks out destroys everything that stands in its way. The first 40 minutes of the movie establishes the characters and explains the lives they live and their nature along with some scintillating and refreshing cinematography in capturing the ever beautiful backyards of a house and the landscapes of Kerala.



There's this sense of tension that constantly prevails from the start to the end and we don't know what's going to happen once the story sets and the motives of the characters are revealed then comes the full-fledged action sequence ranging for more than 90 odd minutes. tovino thomas and the guy who played as protagonist were in trance mode during the action sequence. 



It is the best-choreographed action sequence we have seen in an indian movie. Kala is an example of who a hardcore action movie can be made in the most aesthetically way. A Revenge story told in possibly the best way. The menace of animal cruelty is a rather less discussed topic in mainstream movies. And it is prevalent in Kerala. The lack of stricter penalties for cruelty to animals lets the offenders get away easily. What happens when a dog-lover decides to stand up to those who are cruel to dogs and seek vengeance on their behalf? A bloodbath. This movie offers more than just a bloodbath.
