Two Top Heroines in Race for Item Song in Pushpa

'Pushpa' is an upcoming telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Sukumar. The movie is funded by naveen Yerneni and Y. ravi shankar of Mythri movie Makers banner along with Muttamsetty Media. allu arjun essays the lead role while rashmika mandanna does the female lead role. jagapathi babu, prakash raj, Dhananjay, and sunil are part of the supporting cast. devi sri prasad has composed tunes.


As we have reported earlier, the movie will be made in two parts and the responsibility on sukumar also has increased big time. He has to pack a punch in both parts and keep the audience engaged. A while ago we reported that a special item number will be done by a noted heroine and now the race is on between disha patani and pooja Hegde. Initially, the makers approached tamannaah with a fat paycheck. But she refused the offer as she had her hands full.



The technical team involves Miroslaw Kuba Brozek for Cinematography and Karthika srinivas for editing. Fahadh Faasil is doing the role of antagonist in this movie.  The movie is a Pan-India film and still, 20% of the shooting is yet to be wrapped up. The rest of the shooting will be completed in 30 days and it will be completed in a single long schedule. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
