18 Years of Trisha's Commercial Blockbuster Movie
2003 saw the release of Saamy featuring vikram and trisha in the lead roles. The movie was written and directed by hari and it was funded by K. balachander and produced by Pushpa Kandasamy under the banner Kavithalayaa Productions banner. This movie also was the debut of kota srinivasa rao in Tamil. harris jayaraj composed the music and the songs are huge successes.

It was even remade in telugu as 'Lakshmi Narasimha' with balayya reprising the role of vikram and asin reprising the role of Trisha. The movie had a strong technical team with Late.
