STR to finally start shooting with a limited crew
After lots of delays over a year it has finally been made official that director venkat Prabhu's political entertainer Maanaadu starring simbu in the lead role and bankrolled by suresh Kamatchi's v house productions to begin shooting soon.

Maanaadu has cinematography by richard M Nathan, editing by praveen KL, art direction by Sekar, production design by Rajeevan, action choreography by Silva, costume design by Vasuki Bhaskar. The movie is expected to start shooting around next week with strict guidelines imposed by the TN Government. The team has planned to start shooting with limited crew members. Controversial hero of tamil cinema simbu aka STR was last seen in the disastrous flick 'Vanthaa Rajavathaan Varuven' which is the official remake of pawan Kalyan's 'Attarintiki Daredi'. The actor has never arrived to the shooting spot on-time and there were lots of reports around him. But now, he is back!!
