Disha Patani regrets this decision
director Sundar.C had last delivered the family entertainer Vanthaa Rajavathan Varuven starring simbu, Megha Akash, and ramya krishnan and the movie was the official tamil remake of telugu blockbuster Attarintiki Daaredhi and the movie was a huge flop. Later,he directed vishal for 'Action' and that also flopped.
The director approached disha patani and narrated a periodic drama story titled 'Sangamitra'. Initially, shruti haasan was touted to be the female lead in that movie. But she walked out of the movie due to unknown reasons and she was replaced by Disha Patani.
disha patani now regrets this decision as it has been more than a year and the actress is now worried that the movie hasn't even started yet. The movie is bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films banner who last produced Vijay's 'Mersal'.
