Director Shankar changed Indian 2 shoot from China due to Coronavirus
kollywood industry's iconic filmmaker shankar has been busy with his upcoming big-budget flick, indian 2, starring kamal hassan, Kajal Agarwal, rakul Preet, siddharth, priya bhavani shankar, delhi ganesh and venu -Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">nedumudi venu in prominent roles. The film's shooting is progressing in chennai at EVP Studios.
Reports have emerged that director shankar had originally planned to shoot some of the sequences in China. However, due to the recent coronavirus outbreak, he is forced to shift the shooting location from china to Italy. Interestingly, it was kamal hassan who had suggested italy for the next schedule.
The death toll has crossed over 1770 globally and many cities in china are under lockdown because of the deadly virus. shankar decided not to put the entire team at risk and at this stage, it would be impractical for the team to get permission to travel to the country. The makers are now busy with completing the formalities to travel to Italy. Once the team wraps up the chennai schedule, they will travel to italy for the remaining shoot. So far, indian 2 team has shot in hyderabad, gwalior and Rajasthan. The technical crew of indian 2 comprises of music director anirudh Ravichander, editor Sreekar prasad and cinematographers ravi Varman and Rathnavelu.
