Mehreen ends as Bad Luck!
National award-winning actor Dhanush's asuran, his fourth collaboration with vetrimaran after Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada chennai released recently and was bankrolled by kalaipuli S Thaanu, and is the adaptation of the novel Vekkai by Poomani.
Asuran earned overwhelmingly positive reviews from audience and critics alike, and initially released in 450 theaters later the screens and shows have got increased. Even in states like kerala and karnataka, asuran theaters have been increased.
Shows and screens got increased in south tamil Nadu too and the movie surpassed VIP. Co-starring Manju Warrier, Ken Karunas, Pasupathy, Prakashraj, Ammu Abhirami,Balaji Sathivel, asuran has music scored by GV Prakash.
After the stupendous success, dhanush has 'Pattaas' which featured mehreen in the female lead role. mehreen is considered as bad luck in tamil cinema as none of her movies ended as a success. She expected to break the jinx with dhanush, but her bad luck continued as dhanush gave a flop with 'Pattaas'. mehreen is currently working on a few telugu projects and she has also signed two more untitled tamil movies.
